WHO'S THERE? A exterior door has to set the mood and feel of the style you are trying to portray to the outside world. For those that don't know you, they will want to get to know you based on your style and colour /textured exterior door. It could be a very vibrant front door or a texture wood that gives a very rustic and aged look to the home. The surrounding area also adds to the exterior complimenting the exterior with the door, roofing, siding, sitting area, and window panels etc. So have some fun, you can always update your exterior with paint for the seasons current obession !

The Stars shine for you...

I have to say this is truly amazing, it could work for a cute romantic date, the family movie night "in" or  a sleep over with friends/family. It really is dream like and I have seen many renditions of this concept. I have to say this one is very magical and has all the bells and whistles...Bring the neighbours over and have a nice gathering watching a classic or a new release! 

The WORLD is your OYSTER ..

It has always been my dream to have a focal wall ; map of the world. I am loving the sepia toned effect it is having with the muted greens and quilted throw on the bed. This could work for many options in an office, room, den/ library any where you see fit, or need that extra "worldly" inspiration. For a younger look I enjoyed the brighter version of the world map with the bright blues and greens. This image however is suited for an older audience and gives a very mystical feel and "old fashioned" look that I can see going into any space to give it that added colour or texture. I would play off the colours in the map like the muted greens and sepia tones mixed with darker tones of wood to give light to the darker tones represented in the map. This would enrich the feel you where trying to portray!

50 shades of YELLOW!

grey is such a wonderful shade of colour, its cool and clean. I love that you can add pretty much any colour and it will compliment the grey in a room or space. It gives a very industrial feel to a room and can also give the sense of "cool" factor. Yellow has been a fad for about a month now and continuing to make its way into clothing and accessories. I personally love the hints of yellow anywhere right now, not sure why but it has just been working for me and I love adding it to give anything a pop of colour! with the grey it gives such a fun yet cool feel and I am really enjoy it in interiors, even in children's rooms if you dont know the sex of the baby the grey and yellow theme is very popular. It is not that bright, dramatic yellow you see. It is somewhat muted and mustard like, Im loving it in hints of yellow. This look also is complimented by breaks in colour by our trusty old white! for borders and outlines in rooms etc. Loving this monochromic look
