Website Updates . . .

Hello Everyone,

It has been a rewarding two years at Sheridan College, I have learned a lot and will miss my friends and teachers. I have been searching for any decorating opportunities, and I hope to be lucky enough to work with some great people and gain experience in the near future :)

Wish me luck!

OH, and by the way if interested, I have been updating the look of my other personal portfolio websites. I do have an urban flare of style, however I thought in order to appeal to a wider group of people or firm I must create a clean, crisp workable website. The modern sleek style with rustic elements is definitely a great look and I admire many different decorating styles, because in todays ever changing world, anything goes :)

Please feel free and take a look at my websites...

Rustic Country 20-20 Kitchen Design

concept image
We needed to create a rustic modern country kitchen in our 20 20 class from clients "doug and barb" they wanted lots of room, a tv to watch their cooking shows, and sitting in the kitchen without the regular table and chairs. They love country design and needed the best of the best appliances and gadgets...........

This is what I came up with !

Viking Range for their catering business.
I have accented their kitchen design with hints of red for appliances

I have created a very open space with maxium storage and top of the line appliances. The blue, green and red plaid for the place mats and stool cushions give the space a bit more country feeling, mind you the 20 20 software did not have much to chose from, I tried my hardest to make it as country as I know how with a hint of modern!

Sketch it UP

For our AutoCAD class we have to also learn the sketch-up program which is downloadable via google.

This is a view from my mid term, not sure what mood I was in however I enjoy the results of trying something new and going outside my comfort zone becuase that is what decorating/design is all about, trying new things and surprising yourself that you were able to pull it off!

The below sketch-up views are an assignment we had to complete for a client, you needed to make our autoCAD drawing similar to our space planning and positioning items in the sketch up program.

To be honest I do not really enjoy working with sketch-up however I enjoy the animation and the ability to make a movie for your surrounding place, ever professional!

I like how my bedroom for this client turned out :)
